Spreading Cheer at Victoria Gardens, December 2020

Victoria Gardens Frisco – Throughout the year we provided so many smiles to residents andstaff alike! At the beginning of the pandemic many ALGCC members donated colored pencils, crayons, coloring books, greeting cards, word and puzzle books. As the year and the virus progressed so many of you participated by supporting the VGF Food Truck Week with donations of chocolate and flowers. Many bags of candy, muffins, cookies, and drinks were donated. Members also donated endless amounts of artificial flowers so residents can make crafts and decorate the residence throughout the year. Baseball caps were donated for their Crazy Hat Day.

And, of course, your generosity at Christmas allowed us to make, fill, and deliver 65 stockings. 2020 was the second year ALGCC members opened your hearts for Stockings for Seniors. Thank you all!!!

A quote from Valerie Poloche, Activities Director, at VGF, “Your members ARE the very best!! This photo doesn’t begin to do these sweet stockings justice. We are going to have to distribute these a little late, but what a JOYOUS January our residents will have! There’s a specific plan to give these out, with as much love as was put into creating them. I will take and post as many photos as I can! We appreciate you guys so much. In the meantime, keep our residents and their families in your thoughts and prayers, and hope we can get COVID out of our facility very soon. Merry Christmas to all of the ALGCC [members]! “
