Volunteers transforming lives through community programs since 1998
The Operation School Bell® Retail Program in partnership with JCPenney held six shopping events on September 18, 19, 25, and 26 and October 2 and 3 at the Stonebriar location. A total of 616 children were very excited to receive new school clothing and personal care items. The total returned to the community was a whopping $50,000!
We had 40 member volunteers that logged in 400 hours on the shopping days and another 725 doing the advance planning and preparation for a total of 1,125 hours. In addition to that, we had JCPenney volunteers and Assisteens members pitching in!
