Listen and Learn Pilot Sub-Program – March 2022

The Listen and Learn Pilot Sub-Program started working with students at Jackson Elementary School in Plano on Tuesday, February 15th. With the snow storm and spring break, we had a couple weeks off. Now that spring break is over, we are back to working with students. We currently have 17 Assistance League members working with 20 students each week. Volunteers listen to students read on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each student reads for 20 minutes with our volunteers. Our volunteers have been amazing and are enjoying their time with the students.
