Our Members Excelled with Make A Difference Day

December 2015

The recently held project of Make A Difference Day collected 2,466 books locally which were donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County. This effort was done by many other chapters of Assistance League. Out of 110 participating chapters nationally, collecting 82,140 books, Assistance League of Greater Collin County collected twice the average number of books collected by other chapters which participated.

Congratulations to Cheryl Davis, who led the project, and to all the chapter members who contributed. We can “pat ourselves on the back” for this tremendous effort.
