Volunteers transforming lives through community programs since 1998
At the request of Children’s Medical Center Plano, two workshops were held where members decorated 50 caps to place on the beds of children admitted to the hospital for treatment. With the direction of Faye Crupi, the project leader, our enthusiastic members spent 150 hours cutting cloth, designing each cap, and gluing the designs in place. The caps were delivered in mid December. Caps for Kids with cancer is the first project of Assistance League’s new Caring in Action Program.
