Volunteers transforming lives through community programs since 1998
Members of Assistance League, along with three husbands and a son, are seen loading and delivering 37 heavy boxes of books. The chapter raised 2,598 books through the help of family, friends, neighbors and businesses who came together to support the Make A Difference Day drive to supply books to areas short of literary materials. Make A Difference Day is a drive organized by National Assistance League®. Boys and Girls Club of Collin County was happy to be the recipient of the books, and the Director of Volunteer Services said “We never get this many books in one donation.”
