Caring In Action provides activities based upon community needs which may or may not occur with the same agencies or organizations. Outreach

Members engage in activities that are specifically short term, or one time responses, to meet community needs. Provided car seats and other children items to Frisco Police Department. Filled a baby closet with needed supplies at Emily’s Place in Plano. Provided Lovepacs to 125 children in summer school in Frisco.

Pass the Word

Members provide and distribute new magazines to patients’ rooms and around the waiting room areas at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. Pass the Word has been an integral part of volunteer services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital for over fifteen years.

Members prepare bereavement memory boxes for the staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano and Allen, which are presented to parents whose babies have died at or shortly after birth.
