Pass the Word Program, January 2020

Our Pass the Word program provides current magazines to patients at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, a Level II trauma center with over 360 patient beds in three towers of the hospital.  Twice a week, these ladies distribute current magazines and puzzle books to patients and families and to nine waiting areas.  Our membership also provides adult coloring books, crayons, pencils and journals for at risk patients who are admitted through ER.

Pass the Word has been an integral part of volunteer services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital for over twenty years.  We have members who have been volunteering since the program began.  Since the inception of the program, our volunteers have logged 10,000 hours of service to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
